I met Alli and Sean last summer when they were in the beginning stages of planning their wedding. These two people. I really do adore them. They are so funny, down-to-earth, deeply-caring people. They booked me because they liked my style. Candid. Journalistic. Attentive to detail. They liked how they could enjoy their wedding without me being in their face all day. Their wedding day was all them, from the cool vibes at Byron’s South End (which is a fantastic place to have your wedding!) to a very lovely and endearing ceremony at Covenant Church in Dilworth.
Alli chose a form-fitting Watters dress to meet her groom in. She was stunning. Her frame is petite and so a dress like this really complimented her without swallowing her up.
Alli is one of these wonderful gorgeous stunning full-of-energy people that when you meet her you’re like, Can I be your best friend?!?!
But seriously. She also has amazing taste in flowers. I love this choice, South Africa’s national flowers. Wild. Beautiful. Exotic. Just like Alli.
There were so many amazing images from this day. I’m not kidding you. Like 900. But that’s a long blog and no one wants to wade through 900 images. So here are a few of my favorite highlights from that sweet day.
And here’s some lovely vendor love incase you are searching for some awesome wedding day options in Charlotte, NC.
