If I could tell you how much I just love these two and their epic Founder’s Hall wedding for just a hot min. here… Julianne and Steven are one of my all-time fav. couples. Completely trusted in the vision for their wedding and for me to capture it. I am so in-love with how everything turned out, from Steven giving Julianne his mother’s wedding band, to their roaring 1920’s vibe, everything was touching and joyous at the same time. They truly love each other and everyone could feel it.
See, when you have a wedding in the middle of Taste of Charlotte on a bright and humid June day, it’s gonna be epic! And I think when a lot of people search for a wedding photographer, they overlook that they need more than a photographer. You need someone on the same page, with the same vision and approach to your wedding day. You need a great herder of all the cats, someone who can epically capture images on the fly. Someone who can run down city streets and maybe risk getting hit by a car to get that crossing the street image (that I love so much!)
This is what a professional seasoned wedding professional brings. We aren’t in it for the money (although that is great) but I could make more money doing a 100 other jobs. True wedding photographers are in it for their couples, for the TEAM BLACK that’s gathered that day to help it all land smoothly (See Vendor list below), and we’re in it for the rush of getting that one great shot that a 1000 hobbyists would have missed. We’re in it for tears, and hugs, and laughter, and dancing 80 year=old grandma’s. We’re in it for true love and moments. Which is all what Julianne and Steven had, and why I loved being their wedding photographer so much.
Here’s to a 100 lifetimes of love for them!!
