When Should I Reserve My Session?
When is the best time to photograph my baby?
I would say any time is the perfect time for portraits with your sweet new baby! In general, I like 2-6 weeks, 6+ months (or when they can sit up well unassisted) and at a year old or when they are just about walking. I typically don't photograph children between 3-5 months.
Newborn photography sessions are generally reserved after the 20 week ultrasound, and in most cases several months before your due date. This ensures I have space on my calendar. If you're due in the fall, please do reach out months in advance because those months tend to fill-up quickly!
Are siblings included?

All immediate family members are included in your session. I also have everything on-hand that I need for the perfect newborn portraits, such as white wraps, heirloom quilts, knitted outfits, and more.
Yes, babies are definitely on their own schedule, and many times arrive 3 weeks on either end of your due date. Newborn sessions are reserved around your due date, then once baby is born we schedule a hard-date 2-4 weeks after.
