Golden hour maternity portraits are photographed in the Charlotte area, but I also travel to the beaches of Coastal Carolina and the mountains of Western, NC. we would all feel beautiful.
I never cared what my mother looked like, I only saw how she looked at me - and that was more than enough to fill my childhood with love. My parents were my safe place to land, and when I lost them in 2012 and 2019, I really began to cherish all the photos I had of them. As a Charlotte maternity photographer, my approach to portraits isn't that I'm documenting something for your Social Media, rather I am documenting your life, and the beauty in it.

More often than not, maternity photograph can either feel really cringy or way over the top.
I give you a no-cringe guarantee. These are intimate, timeless portraits that should feel soulful without being silly. How do I do that? We carefully plan wardrobe and location, as well as hair and makeup so you look your best as we work to create effortless images.
Step 01
Print-Worthy Portraits
So many mamas think... what am I going to do with all these maternity portraits? Well, the good news is I'm not about to dump 100 images on your hard drive. I carefully select and craft portraits that you will love and that are unique and timeless., usually about 30-40 images.
Step 02
Studio or On-Location
You can choose for studio, Golden hour portraits, or your home nursery for something intimate and lovely.
All we need is pretty light.
Sessions are best reserved at 20 weeks, and then I photograph mamas about 28-32 weeks.

And as a mother to three, I understand how something like maternity photography can seem trivial, or even weird! And I think it can feel that way if you're not giving it the proper perspective and space.
And that's what I want you to have at your maternity session: a time to breathe, and rest, and connect to the new life you're growing, and to all the sweet souls around you.
As parents, we are in the thick of it. We are giving so much of ourselves with very little time to simply take the time to breathe it all in, and look around at all the grace God has given us.
Parenting isn't easy at all, and the little years can be some of the craziest times - from meltdowns to magic - it's all a part of the beautiful life you've built.
